Happy belated Thanksgiving!
Ugh. I have to do all my homework tomorrow though. But I did go see the New Moon movie and Where the Wild Things Are. They were both pretty good. I still haven't seen This is It, and I'm beginning to panic because the local theater has stopped showing it. I'm going to have to hint at my aunt to take me, since she has expressed interest in seeing it too.
Last night my family went to our cousin Luann's for dinner, which is always great. We got to stuff ourselves with food and catch up with everyone. There's this sort of ease and comfortable atmosphere that pervades get togethers like this. I played with my younger cousins for a couple of hours, so we got home around ten.
We just set up our Christmas tree too, always one of the traditions I look forward to after Thanksgiving.
Tomorrow we're bringing a Thanksgiving plate to my mom. I'm going to try to organize a Saturday where some of us go and watch movies in her room. Speaking of that, my cousin and I are going to plan a weekend of Disney movies and I'm watching Tarzan and Aladdin tonight.
MTV was showing a "King of Pop Block", and they showed some MJ videos along with people talking about how great he was as a person rather than a musician. I just wish people would have been shown that side of him while he was still alive, instead of the sensationalism and the lies.
Now that my obsession with MJ is at such a height, I recognize almost every reference to him on sitcom reruns, and there are ALOT. I just saw a Spongebob episode where Squidward told him to moonwalk on a treadmill, and that made me smile.
